Note: This is copper tinned marine grade wiring and able to withstand higher loads than standard solid wiring. For this reason, we use a for wire gauge depending on length. Each wire is rated for industry standard lighting and appliances with a safe cushion for slightly higher loads.

More Details

This kit is designed to be fed throughout the vehicle and plugged directly into your power system and appliances. Wagos are for connecting wiring to components. This kit is intended for use with a Maxx Air Fan or similar power-draw ventilation along with low-current lighting rated for 5A or less. 110 Outlets are not identical, one is a low-pro enclosure for walls, the other deeper GFCI outlet pair  is designed to be cut into a cabinet. Dimmer wires are pre-labeled and plug & play. Long = meant to go on the opposite side of the vehicle. Short = meant to live within the same enclosure as your inverter. 120V Outlets are not rated for more than 1800W.

Note: This system is designed for use with 12VDC and 110VAC. 24V, 48V, or 220V systems should not be used with this kit. 

Wiring Safety Disclosures

Please practice safe wiring when building your own van. We are not electricians, but expect you to treat all electrical appliances as if they're live, and dangerous. The best wiring in the world can not prevent fires if things are safely connected. Please review Section 22 of our before agreeing to them and purchasing this product.

General safe practice:

1. Do not allow your wiring to be cut into or break through the loom/insulation
2. If your wiring passes through sharp metal points, use conduits, grommets, or extra sheathing to protect them. 
3. Heat shrink over connectors when possible to avoid them coming loose.
4. Your power system and appliances must be properly grounded for safe function
5. Ensure proper contact when connecting outlets/GFCIs
6. Make sure anything attaching to a lug or bolt has optimal electrical contact
7. Torque all lugs and fasteners properly to avoid fires
8. Never pinch wires or create hard bends, these can be hotspots
9. Test each wire and appliance prior to final installation. Make sure wires are at a safe operating temp. 
10. Do not splice into these pre-made wires for secondary circuits
11. Never use WAGO connectors for 110VAC circuits
12. Never run more than 12VDC through Duplex wires
13. Never run more than 120VDC through triplex wires
14. Place properly rated fuses inline on each circuit
15. Place breakers inline for all 110VAC circuits as a redundant safety measure
